After 35 years, Samco has grown to one of the largest and most progressive rollformer manufacturers in the world. It is still a family run organization, with over 120 members of the team! Located in Toronto, Canada we have 80,000 square feet with a staff of 30 engineers, making sure your project is going to be exactly as you need it.
And there it is, on the front of our building - our ISO certification. What that means to you, is that you can call at any time and find out exactly where your project is at.
Mona in charge of the Continuous Improvement and monitors all projects as they move through the pipeline at Samco.
Mat Hazrati is a project manager and he's going to be the one in communication with you all through the steps of the design and manufacturing letting you know that everything is working just fine.
John, another program manager helps to ensure that your project is going to follow the milestones of the Samco Project Management formula.
What is it?
Milestone 1 is the Opportunity Identified
The 2nd Milestone is where a request for quotation is received.
Milestone 3 is the Customer Order Acceptance and the Launch.
Which means that, all the way through our getting to know you we have designs that are continuously being improved. When you look at the tooling, we use the best kind of technology available, including Finite Element Analysis to help us quote for you the exact set of tooling that will be perfect for your mill and application. This is a detailed process that means that we are going to be able to put our roll tooling department to work for you, even before a piece of metal has hit a mill. We want to make sure that at the start of the project, everything is in check.
Milestone 4 is the Preliminary Design
Milestone 5 is the Final Design
Milestone 6 is the Design Verification, where all the different components and integration, including the electrical are going to be put in place.
Our Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Departments are going to ensure that your project is going to come together seamlessly.
Milestone 7 is the Release to Production.
Milestone 8 is Fabrication is Complete
And, Milestone 9 is Assembly is Complete.
There is a great deal of interaction in-between the Engineering Department and our fitters and our machine specialists. Engineers walk the floor to guarantee that all your work that is being done in-house at Samco is according to what you need!
Test Completion, Customer Sign-off, and Project Closure are Milestones 10, 11, and 12, where you are ensured that your product is going to be as it was designed to be, and it's going to be delivered on time and inside of schedule and budget.
